A lifelong resident of Augusta, Georgia, Mike has been practicing law in the local area for over 30 years. He began practicing as a prosecutor in the Solicitor General’s Office in the State Court of Richmond County, Georgia. Opening his own firm in 1998, he specializes in Family Law, Criminal Defense and Personal Injury. He also serves as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia, Child Support Division, for both the Columbia County and Augusta Judicial Circuits. Mike attended local area schools and graduated from the Academy of Richmond County in 1981. He obtained his AB cum laude from the University of Georgia and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. He has been an active member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia since 1990. When not practicing law, Mike enjoys golfing, hunting and college football. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, the owner of Persnipity Hair Salon, and their three daughters: Haley, Ansley and Chandler.
